The Gentrification of The BEC: Paul Eugene Renna - Sounds Like NYC Ep. #060

On this episode of Sounds Like NYC we sat down with NYC native and artist Paul Eugene Renna. We talked about Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwiches being gentrified, how to hustle when selling your art at a gallery and having the creator of Courage The Cowardly Dog as a landlord.

Eugene is a Queens artist with his style born out of street art, who incorporates words and images to create clever, relevant, and colorful, works of art through acrylic paint and a Krink pen.

His work delivers casual, humorous cultural commentary as he lays a common ground between artist, viewer, and subject.
